Abstract:
We propose a simple analysis of a single-multimode-single-mode fiber (SMSMF) filter by observing the excited modes in multimode fiber (MMF). The method is used to design a SMSMF filter demodulator for fiber Bragg grating sensors, and a corresponding demodulation system is created. The static and dynamic measurements based on the system are given to prove the feasibility of the intensity demodulator.
