  • To assess an intervention designed to improve undergraduate students' information search and evaluation skills.

  • Survey methodology collected pre- and post-intervention data from two student cohorts (2005, 2006).
  • Data from 71 students were analyzed using percentages, chi-square, and Fisher's exact tests.

  • Statistically significant improvements were observed in database searching (p=0.000).
  • Use of Google Scholar increased (p=0.035), alongside a greater number of evaluation criteria (p=0.000).
