Abstract:
The risk factors for coronary disease are considered and it is pointed out that the probabilities of being affected increase a great deal if the observed anomalies are more than one. Adequate prophylaxis is possible because, with the exception of age, sex and family, all the other possible causes can be corrected. The responsibility for this prophylaxis in the physician's for the must be at his best in his contact with the patient, respecting ethical values that must never be wanting in the exercise of the profession.
