1Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Louisville School of Medicine, Kentucky.
Abstract:
A logical approach to the diagnosis of pelvic pain in an adolescent with a suspected uterine anomaly is necessary for optimal care. A 16-year-old female born with an imperforate anus and a Class II müllerian anomaly is presented. A Strassman procedure resulted in unification of uterine horns, correction of pelvic pain, and potential fertility.
