Measurement of NO Concentration in Water Saturated Nitrogen
Abstract:
The equivalent Raman scattering cross section of NO (nitric oxide) referred to O(2) (oxygen) and N(2) (nitrogen) was obtained experimentally. Furthermore, it is shown that it is possible, using the Raman effect, not only to detect small concentrations of nitric oxide in water saturated nitrogen but also to obtain quantitative measurements of NO independent of the presence of other species.
