Background:

  • Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a potential treatment for LOH.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of TRT in men with LOH.
  • To compare TRT outcomes against hypogonadal men not receiving replacement and healthy controls.
  • To assess changes over a six-month period.

Main Methods:

  • A six-month study involving 62 participants divided into three groups.
  • Group 1 (HR): Hypogonadal males receiving intramuscular testosterone every three weeks.
  • Groups 2 (HV) & 3 (CV): Hypogonadal and control males receiving daily oral vitamins, respectively.
