Genetic variants in ADAM33 (a disintegrin and metalloprotease 33) are not associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) development or disease severity. This study found no significant differences in specific ADAM33 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) between COPD patients and healthy controls.
