Summary

This study demonstrates that marmoset monkeys can voluntarily control their brain activity through sensorimotor rhythm (SMR) neurofeedback. This research provides the first evidence of nonhuman primates achieving operant control over SMR, paving the way for more rigorous neurofeedback studies.
