Summary

Electroencephalography source imaging (ESI) successfully identified the seizure focus in 80% of patients with normal MRI scans, leading to improved surgical outcomes for 90% of those treated. This technique aids in epilepsy surgery for magnetic resonance imaging-negative cases.
