[Application of synthetic materials for prophylaxis of adhesion disease]
Abstract:
In 55-93% of the patients after laparotomy performance the pathological adhesion process is observed. The local reactions of peritoneum (its blood supply disturbance, infection presence) as well as systemic disorders (biochemical, genetic, etc.) are pathogenetically important causes of this disease. There is no a secure method of postoperative adhesion process prophylaxis. The comparative analysis of actual methods for prophylaxis of pathological adhesions formation served as a background for proposal of the method, which makes possible to escape the adhesion disease recurrence due to pathogenetic correction conduction using modern barrier materials.
