Biofilms in chronic bacterial prostatitis (NIH-II) and in prostatic calcifications

Bacterial strains causing chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) can form biofilms. These biofilms are consistently present in CBP and linked to prostatic calcifications, offering new insights into prostatitis.
