Background:

Nanophthalmos is a rare congenital ocular disorder characterized by a small eye, short axial length, and high hyperopia.
It results from arrested globe development, leading to a high lens/eye volume ratio.
Fundus abnormalities are infrequently observed in nanophthalmos.

This case series reports on five patients diagnosed with nanophthalmos.
Each patient presented with a distinct fundus appearance.
The observed fundus changes included varied pigmentary alterations.
