Cytotoxic chaetoglobosins from the endophyte Chaetomium globosum

Researchers isolated two new alkaloids, chaetoglobosins V and W, from the fungus Chaetomium globosum. These compounds, along with known ones, showed moderate cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell lines.
