An active-learning course model to teach pharmacotherapy in geriatrics

This geriatric pharmacotherapy course successfully improved doctor of pharmacy students' perceptions of aging and equipped them with essential skills for patient care. Students found the active learning strategies valuable for their advanced pharmacy practice experiences.
