VEGF and prostatic cancer: a systematic review

Elevated vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plasma levels may indicate prostate cancer. However, serum VEGF levels are not reliable for distinguishing benign prostate conditions from malignant disease in high-risk patients.
