Projection deconvolution algorithm for image reconstruction from incomplete spectrum data
Abstract:
We present an efficient algorithm-the projection deconvolution algorithm-to reconstruct a 2-D image from the accessed incomplete spectrum data and thereby improve the image resolution. This algorithm uses a sequence of 1-D discrete deconvolution operations to process a 2-D image (or higher-dimesional signal) on their projections. This algorithm is shown to be efficient in numerical calcualtion. Examples of numerical results are also presented.
