Cardiac function in mild primary hyperparathyroidism and the outcome after parathyroidectomy

Mild primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) does not affect cardiac function or structure. However, parathyroidectomy (PTX) in PHPT patients led to a slight decrease in blood pressure and myocardial velocities, aligning with control group values.
