Balloon Test Occlusion (BTO) combined with Perfusion CT (PCT) safely evaluates collateral flow during carotid artery procedures. This enhanced method revealed significant cerebral blood flow decreases in some patients, improving diagnostic accuracy beyond standard BTO.
