Abstract:
Activation parameters are reported for the additions of fluoromethoxycarbene (FCOMe) to alpha-chloroacrylonitrile, methyl acrylate, and acrylonitrile. The reactivity of FCOMe is compared to that of dichlorocarbene and chloromethoxycarbene.
