High-fidelity nursing simulation: impact on student self-confidence and clinical competence

High-fidelity patient simulation did not significantly improve nursing students' self-confidence or clinical competence in their first rotation. Further research is needed on teaching strategies to transfer skills from lab to clinical settings.
