  • Colonoscopy revealed a relapse of UC in the remaining rectal mucosa.

Findings:

  • A diagnosis of pyodermatitis-pyostomatitis vegetans was established.
  • This represents the first reported case of these lesions coinciding with UC relapse post-colectomy.
  • A strong correlation was observed between bowel inflammation activity and mucocutaneous lesion severity.
