Correlation between peripapillary macular fiber layer thickness and visual acuity in patients with open-angle

Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) significantly correlates with retinal nerve fiber layer thickness (RNFLT) in open-angle glaucoma (OAG). The mid-temporal (mT) sector showed the strongest correlation, indicating its importance in monitoring OAG progression.
