Pyogenic sacroiliitis in children-a diagnostic challenge

Pyogenic sacroiliitis in children is rare but serious. Early diagnosis is achievable with specific clinical and imaging findings, with Staphylococcus aureus being the common cause. Conservative antibiotic treatment proved effective.
