Current kidney transplantation methods include cadaveric donation, live donation, kidney paired donation, and list exchange.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate and compare the efficiency of different kidney transplantation programs.
To estimate the average patient waiting time per year for each transplantation method.
To identify and recommend the optimal kidney transplantation program based on patient blood type.

Main Methods:

Development of distinct simulation models for each kidney transplantation program.
Conducting a simulation study to analyze program performance.
Estimating average patient waiting times using the developed simulation models.

Main Results:

Simulation models provided estimates for average annual patient waiting times across different programs.
The study identified the most effective transplantation program for each patient blood type.
Data-driven recommendations were generated for optimizing kidney allocation.
