Reference levels for serum thyroid function tests of diagnostic and prognostic significance

The upper limit for thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) reference ranges may need adjustment. This study suggests a lower upper TSH reference value when considering both diagnostic and prognostic significance in thyroid function tests.
