  • Vascular structures were preserved through selective ligation.
  • Main Results:

    • Successful submandibular sialoadenectomy in all 8 cases with an average operative time of 60 minutes.
    • No instances of nerve paralysis (marginal mandibular, lingual, hypoglossal).
    • Excellent wound healing, satisfactory cosmetic appearance, and good flap viability were observed.

    Conclusions:

    • The modified retroauricular approach is a simple and effective technique for submandibular sialoadenectomy.
    • This method provides superior cosmetic outcomes.
    • It is associated with a low complication rate.
