DNA replication has three main steps: initiation, elongation, and termination. Summary

Defining a successful quit attempt as lasting 24 hours may underestimate the true prevalence of smoking cessation efforts. This 24-hour criterion might exclude highly dependent smokers who genuinely try to quit.
