[Comments on the preparation of pillar teeth]

The author draws attention to some short comings of contemporary advice regarding the preparation of pillar teeth, in particular as regards the relationship of their longitudinal axes and corresponding surfaces. The author indicates possibilities sparing preparation and the test its importance experimentally with regard to sparing of hard dental tissues.
