Orthodontic techniques for uprighting the mesio-angularly impacted lower third molar

An impacted lower third molar can sometimes be uprighted orthodontically to provide a functional tooth. Many such cases can be managed by the interested GDP, although more complex mechanics are probably best left to the specialist.
