Staphylococcus aureus phage types and their correlation to antibiotic resistance

Staphylococcus aureus strains were phage typed and antibiotic resistance analyzed. Community-acquired MSSA strains, particularly phage type 81, showed distinct antibiotic susceptibility profiles compared to hospital strains.
