Abstract:
The law authorizing an adult opt-in ImmTrac registry took effect Sept. 1, 2009. The legislation expanded ImmTrac, the statewide immunization registry operated by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), to permit retention of immunization information in the immunization registry after a person turns 18. The adult registry will be fully operational by December, says a DSHS spokesperson.
