Abstract:
In the title compound, [ZnCl(2)(C(14)H(16)N(2))], the Zn(II) atom is coordinated by two N atoms and two Cl atoms in an approximately tetra-hedral arrangement. The dihedral angle between the N-Zn-N and Cl-Zn-Cl planes is 88.06 (8)°. The H atoms on the chiral C atom and the adjacent N atom have an anti conformation.
