Abstract:
The paper describes experiences in the routine application of a method for programmed reporting and data processing in the field of X-ray diagnosis (ORVID). In reporting 2286 X-ray findings the ORVID system proved to be practicable. For the reporting doctor the system involves an increased ,expenditure' of time that, nevertheless, could be reduced by improving the record libraries and by modifying the program. To a certain extent, art increased expenditure of time will have to be taken into account in every DP-oriented acquisition of medical findings.
