This study compared pediatric extracorporeal life support (ECLS) circuits, finding the Quadrox-iD oxygenator with a centrifugal pump offers lower pressure drops and better hemodynamic energy retention. This alternative circuit also boasts faster setup and transport for pediatric ECLS.
