Using a self-care framework for continuing education in gerontological nursing.

    Summary

    This study shows that using Orem's Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory (S-CDNT) in gerontological nursing education significantly improved nurses' knowledge and practice. The training had a lasting positive impact on their professional perspective and attitudes.
