Physician advice was received by only 10% of parents, yet 70% would follow it.

Conclusions:

Disposable diapers are favored for convenience and rash prevention, despite higher costs and environmental concerns.
Pediatricians have a significant opportunity to influence parental diaper choices by providing information on cost and environmental impact.
Healthcare providers can play a vital role in promoting sustainable and cost-effective diapering solutions.
