[The chronicle of a protest]

The strategy adopted by the College of nurses of Trento is described. The steering board of the college, among various strategies choose to privilege information and involvement, with different messages and modalities provided to different users, colleagues, physicians, hospital managers, trade unions, volunteers, mass media to get their support and share ideas and suggestions on problems nurses were dealing with. Some of the results achieved and general comments on the experience are discussed.
