Abstract:
The major medical library services and resources of most use to family physicians are outlined. Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) is the key to successful use of Index Medicus, Medline and the card catalogue. The new Family Medicine Literature Index (FAMLI) provides access to family medicine journals not indexed by Index Medicus. Other indexing and abstracting services helpful to family physicians are discussed.
