Preferable colonic investigations for isolated abdominal pain

Colonic investigations for isolated abdominal pain frequently detect polyps, though these may not explain symptoms. Computed tomographic colonography (CTC) offers a less invasive alternative to optical colonoscopy (OC) with similar pathology detection rates.
