  • Identified 450 differentially expressed genes influenced by estrogen (291 upregulated, 159 downregulated by ≥2-fold in ArKO vs. WT).
  • Confirmed previously reported estrogen-regulated genes and discovered novel ones.
  • Found 78 estrogen-responsive elements (ERE) among genes in key functional categories (hormonal processes, reproduction, sex differentiation, apoptosis, cellular processes).

Conclusions:

  • Defined the estrogen-regulated transcriptome in the mouse ovary.
  • This research provides a foundation for further investigation into estrogen's role in follicular development and ovarian function.
