The relationship between left ventricular hypervoltage and CYP11B2 (344T/C) polymorphism in Keriyans

The Keriyan people in the Taklimakan Desert show a higher incidence of electrocardiogram (ECG) left ventricular hypervoltage. This is linked to the C-344T polymorphism in the aldosterone synthase gene (CYP11B2), suggesting an adaptive mechanism.
