Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is linked to more severe coronary artery blockages. Lower kidney function, measured by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), predicts increased coronary lesion complexity.

- A progressive increase in significant coronary lesion complexity was observed with declining kidney function (P = .001).
- Lower eGFR was a strong predictor of a higher SYNTAX Score, indicating more complex coronary artery disease.

- CKD severity is directly associated with increased complexity of coronary artery stenosis.
- eGFR is a valuable predictor of coronary lesion complexity in patients undergoing angiography.
