Summary

The EZ-Blocker (EZ) is an efficient and easy-to-use alternative to the double-lumen tube (DLT) for single-lung ventilation during thoracic surgery. While intubation takes longer with EZ, it offers comparable surgical conditions and requires mandatory fiberoptic bronchoscopy verification.
