Summary

A new method uses electronic portal imaging device (EPID) cine images to automatically verify multileaf collimator (MLC) positions in volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) plans. This quality assurance (QA) approach enhances treatment accuracy by detecting leaf mismatches specific to each patient plan.
