Sprouty 2 (Spry2) facilitates HIV-1 Gag release by disrupting ESCRT-I and ESCRT-II interactions. This protein acts as a novel cellular factor for both primary and secondary HIV-1 Gag L domains, enhancing virus-like particle release.
