Summary

This report details a rare sinonasal fibrosarcoma case in a 47-year-old woman. Surgical removal was successful, confirming the diagnosis through histopathology.

Observation:

  • A 47-year-old woman presented with a 2-year history of left nasal obstruction and proptosis, plus 2 months of diplopia.
  • Imaging revealed a large neoplasm involving the nasal cavity, ethmoid and frontal sinuses, with extensive bone erosion.
  • The tumor eroded the maxillary sinus, lamina papyracea, cribriform plate, and frontal sinus wall.

Findings:

  • Complete tumor resection was achieved via endoscopic and Lynch incision approaches.
  • Histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of sinonasal fibrosarcoma.
