Abstract:
An experimental trial for quantitative estimation of Lipiodol (Lp.) using CT scan was performed. Simulating the average CT value of Lp. to known iodine concentration calculated from the standard curve of KI solution/CT value, quantity of Lp. can be given by following formula; (Lp-dose/slice) = KS d/480 (K: known iodine concentration, S: area square of Lp., d: slice thickness). Satisfactory data were given, and clinical application was expected.
