Abstract:
A new highly oxygenated nortriterpenoid, 2β-hydroxy-micrandilactone C (1), and three related known triterpenoids (2-4) have been isolated from the leaves and stems of Schisandra chinensis. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by means of NMR and MS spectroscopic analyses.
