Chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus (LE) typically presents with characteristic skin lesions.
Linear dermatoses following Blaschko's lines can pose diagnostic challenges.

Observation:

A 15-year-old female presented with a 3-month history of a pruritic, erythematous rash on her right cheek and perioral area.
The eruption exhibited a linear distribution along Blaschko's lines.
Histopathology and direct immunofluorescence were consistent with chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus.

Despite treatment with topical steroids and systemic antimalarials, the patient showed minimal improvement.
The clinical presentation and resistance to therapy deviated from typical chronic cutaneous LE cases.
