Summary

Child-parent screening for familial hypercholesterolemia is feasible in young children during immunization appointments. This pilot study shows combining cholesterol checks with vaccinations is acceptable and successful.

  • To assess the feasibility and acceptability of a pilot child-parent screening program for familial hypercholesterolemia.
  • To evaluate the integration of cholesterol measurement with routine pediatric immunizations.
  • To determine the success rate of simultaneous screening and immunization procedures.
